Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the contractual relationship between LZ Formation (SIRET: 929 874 410 00012 — 2 Rue Vincent Van Gogh, 78700 Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, France), trading as LZPointsPermis ("the Provider"), and any individual ("the Customer") wishing to register for a road safety awareness course. As a French company, LZPointsPermis operates under French law, referenced throughout this document.

Any booking made on lzpointspermis.fr implies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Article 1 — Scope

LZPointsPermis is a provider approved by a French Prefecture to run road safety awareness courses, in accordance with articles R212-1 et seq. of the French Highway Code. These courses allow drivers to recover up to 4 points on their driving licence.

Article 2 — Eligibility to attend

To attend a course, the Customer must:

Hold a valid driving licence (not suspended, cancelled or invalidated)
Not have attended another points recovery course within the same calendar year
Be able to present their original driving licence on the day of the course
Be at least 18 years old

If these conditions aren't met, the Customer will be excluded from the course with no refund.

Article 3 — Price

Course prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, on the website. They cover teaching costs, course materials and the certificate of attendance. Any travel or accommodation costs are the Customer's responsibility.

LZPointsPermis reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, the price applied is the one in effect at the time the booking is confirmed.

Article 4 — Booking and payment

Online booking

Bookings are made online at lzpointspermis.fr. A booking is final once full payment or the first instalment (for split payments) has been received. A confirmation email is sent within 24 hours.

Payment methods

Card payment (Visa, Mastercard) via our secure Stripe payment interface
Split payment in 3 or 4 interest-free instalments via Klarna (subject to eligibility)

All transactions are secure and encrypted. LZPointsPermis never stores the Customer's card details.

Klarna instalment payments

The interest-free 3- or 4-instalment option is subject to approval by Klarna. If Klarna declines the request, the Customer must pay the full amount by card. If any Klarna instalment isn't paid, LZPointsPermis reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Article 5 — Session transfer requested by the Customer

If unavailable, the Customer may request to transfer their booking to another available session, up to 48 hours before the course starts. After that point, no transfer can be granted.

Any transfer request must be made by email to gestion@lzformation.fr before the deadline.

Article 6 — Cancellation by LZPointsPermis

LZPointsPermis reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course in the following cases:

Insufficient number of participants (fewer than 3 registered)
Force majeure (see article 8)
Trainer or venue unavailability

If LZPointsPermis cancels a course, the Customer is notified as soon as possible and offered a transfer to the next available session.

Article 7 — Attending the course and Customer obligations

The Customer agrees to:

Arrive on time for each session (maximum 15-minute grace period)
Present their original driving licence and a valid photo ID
Take an active part in exercises and not disrupt the course
Follow the provider's internal rules

Any disrespectful, violent or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate exclusion with no refund.

Article 8 — Force majeure

LZPointsPermis cannot be held liable for failing to perform, or delays in performing, its obligations in cases of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code. This includes, without limitation: natural disasters, epidemics, national transport strikes, government decisions forcing training venues to close, and major power failures.

Article 9 — Liability

LZPointsPermis commits to using all necessary means to ensure the quality of its courses. However, the actual recovery of points depends on the certificate of attendance being transmitted to, and recorded by, the Ministry of the Interior. LZPointsPermis cannot be held liable for administrative delays beyond its control.

Article 10 — Right of withdrawal

Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal doesn't apply to services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period (courses already underway). For any booking not yet begun, the Customer has 14 days from booking confirmation to exercise their right of withdrawal, unless the course is scheduled to take place within that period.

Article 11 — Governing law and disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact LZ Formation at gestion@lzformation.fr to seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement within 30 days, the Customer may turn to consumer mediation or bring the matter before the courts with jurisdiction over LZ Formation's registered office (Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, 78700, France).
