How to get there from Narbonne?

By car (1h)

From Narbonne, take the A9 motorway towards Montpellier. Allow around 1 hour. As the course starts at 8:30am, we recommend leaving before 7:30am to be comfortable. Parking is available near the centre at weekends.

By train (~55 min)

The Narbonne → Montpellier-Saint-Roch TER or TGV takes around 55 minutes. It's a comfortable option that spares you the stress of an early morning drive. Book your ticket in advance on SNCF Connect. From the station, allow a further 10 to 15 minutes by tram/bus or taxi to reach our centre, in the Garosud area.

FAQ — Course from Narbonne

Is the Montpellier course valid in the Aude?

Yes. The points recovery course is a nationwide scheme. The approval issued by the Préfecture de l'Hérault is recognised everywhere in France, including the Aude (11). Your points will be credited by the Ministry of the Interior the working day after the course, whatever your préfecture.

Can I come from Carcassonne or Narbonne on the same day?

From Narbonne (1h by road or 55 min by train), it's entirely possible to arrive the same morning. Plan to leave before 7:30am by car or take the first TER of the morning. From Carcassonne (1h20), we recommend staying overnight in Montpellier the night before.

How many points will I recover?

The course lets you recover up to 4 points, within the limit of your points balance (12 points maximum for a full licence, 6 points for a probationary licence). If your balance is 10 points, you'll only recover 2. Points are credited the working day after the course.
